British South Asian families · A founding bridge
British education, understood across generations and borders.
Kheya was founded with South Asian diaspora families in mind, beginning with British Bangladeshi communities and the educational experience we know best. It is open to every family seeking thoughtful, closely managed education.
Why Kheya begins here
Many diaspora families are supporting children through an education system that may differ from the one parents or grandparents experienced. They may value high academic expectations and close communication, yet still struggle to find a teacher who understands both the British curriculum and the family context around learning. Kheya begins where its relationships and understanding are strongest—not because every South Asian family is the same, but because a service should know the community it first asks to trust it.
Exceptional teachers, brought across borders
Strong teachers should not remain visible only inside one school, city or professional circle. Kheya’s founding bridge connects British-curriculum learners with carefully selected career teachers, initially drawing on deep educational experience in Bangladesh. Every teacher must demonstrate subject depth, fluent English teaching, responsive classroom judgement and the required professional and safeguarding evidence.
The family is understood before the match is made
A parent or guardian shares the learner’s course, current evidence, goals and practical needs. A conversation may include the learner. Kheya then considers teacher expertise, manner and working style alongside the pace and dynamics of a compatible cohort. This is a personal recommendation—not a directory filter or automated allocation.
Matched for learning—not ethnicity
Students are matched by subject, specification, current level, pace, goals and availability. Kheya does not automatically group learners by ethnicity, religion, nationality or home language.
- Exact subject and examination specification
- Current understanding and priority gaps
- Learning pace and academic goals
- Compatible timetable and cohort fit
Cultural awareness without assumptions
A family may tell Kheya if cultural familiarity or a particular style of parent communication matters. We listen without presuming a language, faith, ambition or identity. Classes are taught live in English, and any additional language support is offered only when specifically confirmed.
Diaspora-first does not mean diaspora-only
Kheya’s founding perspective shapes how carefully it listens, communicates and builds trust. It does not restrict who may learn. Every family is welcome, and every placement is judged on whether Kheya can provide the right teacher, curriculum fit and cohort experience for that learner.
